Panamanian Pepper Sauce

MARVELOUS SPICY BLEND

 Xiomara is my name and I’m a native of Colón, Republic of Panamá.  Growing up in Panamá, surrounded with such a wide variety of different cultures, I developed my love for cooking.  In my household, my mom prepared all our meals.  I don't recall dining out often as a child, everything was home-made.  Our West Indian background brought out a lot of that very flavorful cuisine with its myriad of spices in combination with our native Panamanian dishes with its own zest, made for a perfect blend of just delicious meals.

A bottle of hot sauce was always on our dinner table.  It was either made by mom or my aunt; or any other relative, but it was never a miss.  It was just the thing to add a kick to those amazing flavorful meals.

I enjoy cooking, but I mostly love to create recipes and watch everyone enjoy my food.  My garden offers some of the ingredients that are part of these unique recipes.

In 2005, I started a catering business which I ran until 2007.  Today, I cater for family and friends.  Please enjoy a bottle or two, of my pepper sauce; from my family table to yours.  Enjoy!! This original recipe was passed onto me by my marvelous aunt Marva.  This is a staple on the Panamanian/West Indian table.  Some call it “Pepper Sauce”; others “Picante Chombo”.  “La Chombita”, was created with love and fresh, natural organic ingredients.  Enjoy!
